I started a YouTube channel

To run along side my blog and photography work I thought that I would have a go at a little project I have been thinking about for a while now. I am a huge fan of YouTube and the amazing content that it offers, so I thought that it would be a great place to create and track my progress especially as I shoot more film photography, but in a more visual way,

So I decided to start a YouTube channel of my own.

That was the easy part lol

Little did I figure how hard (well for me) it would be. Not only what would I talk about that is interesting and others would actually watch, but being in front of the camera scares me. To set the scene and plan out what I think I am going to talk about I made a short introduction video. I lost count at the amount of takes it took till I finally gave up and said that will do. Getting over the foolish nature of talking to yourself and the camera and trying to act natural doesn't come ease for me. I hope in time and with a little practice this will change and I won't come across so wooden.

The next challenge was the editing, never before had I used, let alone edited a video. So now I also have the learning curve of video production to add to my learning of film photography.

It still scares me and I have so much to learn, but I guess one hard part is actually over and that is the courage and drive to actually start this project
